Since Fox and Universal are calling it quits. We have seen no light at the end of the tunnel for the new Halo feature film. However, hope has been restored by Stuart Beattie, an Aussie screenwriter, who has taken it upon himself to develop the script. Beattie is no novice when it comes to screen writing, just look at the series "Pirates of the Caribbean" which dominated the box office when each new film was released.
We have heard a lot about this movie, but we are unclear what is true or not. Some sources say spartan 117 (John) will not be the main character. What we do know is the film will be based on the book Halo Fall of Reach. Evidently, Beattie is a huge Halo fan and wants to countinue this story, so he wrote another script. The script starts out with some 5-6 year old kid that gets kidnapped by the U.S. marine corps, and is trained up to be a hardcore military spartan. The movie has been said to hit theaters sometime in 2009. Below There are five new concept art photos, we’ll keep you posted.
